Scoralest
-Fire/Water
-Mitigation Pokémon
-Marvel Scale
-"When Scoralest shoals migrate, they create a water current which mitigates the water they swim in."

Scoralest is based on a sea dragon, and you can assume that from its body shape, but it still keeps some Seadragon features.
It's fire-water typed because of his ability to mitigate the water it swims in <:
Hope you like it! :3

You've really got a knack at color palettes though. You're an excellent spriter, so you can take pride in your work. A lot of your sprites tend to have very curvy lines, which is actually rather beautiful, but at times I'd suggest trying for some more rigid ones as well, but that's the only real thing I can say against them as a whole. This one however, I think you've nailed it! :)

I'm curious though, does your entire design process happen on the computer, or do you draw them out first, and then render them digitally?

Actually, a lot of my Fakemon tend to be curvy, too, I'd never come up with a Gigalith-like concept, and that's pretty restrictive to me.
Most of the times I draw it on paper first, I need to keep a reference under my eyes when I sprite a Fakemon, just to get the right body proportions and to reproduce all the details <:

And since I've got the chance to talk to you, I must ask you a question: Most of the Fakemon artist I know seem to be able to draw a Fakemon the first go, instead it took me a lot of sketches to get results.
So, that's my question: do you draw a lot of sketches before coming up with a Fakemon?

Oh definitely. I plan to upload a few of them to help understand. Some of them actually do come on the first go, but I can say a majority take 2 to 3 completely unrelated sketches before I feel they 'work'. It took me forever to get Itzodaro to get how I wanted. Originally he was gonna be an obelisk or monolith, and then I thought stone henge, but it took forever to get the 'Mayan Calendar thing, and then to get that 'right'.

mitigate in English means...

1a: to cause to become less harsh or hostile : mollify
2a : to make less severe or painful : alleviate

Let me explain.
"Mitigazione", which is translated with "mitigation" in English, is a word which stands for "heating up", if you are talking about oceans or climate. For example: "The Gulf Stream is vital for the mitigation of the Atlantic Ocean overlooking contries climate"
Can't you say that in English?
